About Arika

Arika is a wife to Stephan and a mother to two beautiful girls. Worshipper at the local church, blogger and songwriter. Her passion is to share redemptive art for the glory of Jesus.

Arika began her writing journey after discovering poetry writing in middle school. Her first blog, SaltnSparkle, was her first online published site with a wide range of personal suject matter. She has always had the goal to remain vulnerable with her audience to reach those who may feel alone. This vulnerability helped her to share God’s light with those dealing with depression, anxiety, miscarriage, spirituality questions and so much more. Besides blog writing, songs and merchandise are in the works to share with you all and continue in the journey of encounters with Jesus!

About Bear Fruit…

“You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil. As fruit bearers, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, he gives you.” John 15:16

This blog is themed “Bear Fruit” as a reminder to live a life of meaning. Jesus said we were placed in the world to bear fruit, fruit that lasts. It is easy to get caught in the day to day life, the pain, the unknown and not think about what we are doing to make lasting change. We must to waste our lives, our gifts, our redemption, His grace. Fruit is seen in our actions whether that is at work, with our children, with strangers or friends. Who do people know us to be? What do we do when our character is tested? “Bear Fruit”
