Don’t Waste the Oil

I have been through seasons of waiting. I have been through seasons of lament. 

I have seen the Lord with me throughout every season. I have seen him with me through the Highlands and the Heartache. 

I have been through the process. I am learning and growing. 

I heard the Holy Spirit tell me, “Don’t waste the oil” 

In the pressing of the olives comes forth oil. 

In the pressing through tough seasons I have learned to love Jesus and to give him my despair. I have learned to write and pursue mental wellness. In these things, I have not become an expert but an overcomer. I will not waste the oil from the pressing seasons. 

I say to you, don’t waste the oil. What you have been through, what you feel called to…. Don’t let it waste away. Don’t let your testimony waste away, but let it do the work to the hearts of your brothers and sisters. Bear Fruit.
